Shut down Mac and wireless keyboard. Plug in the keyboard with the PS/2 USB adapter. Switch on Mac. If Mac is stuck to the first gray window try to use a different USB in my case if I use the first USB the keyboard doesn't work but if I use the fourth it works. If the keyboard still doesn't work I've try to install PS/2 driver with the Kext

Hi. i have windows 7 64 bit Ultimate in a desktop PC MSI motherboard. after sleep mode my PS2 keyboard doesnt work ! although i can acttally use it to exit sleep. wierd. also want to mention that after sleep the keyboard. doesnt even show up in device manager. ive triad to scan for new hardware - no good.
Windows XP machine that suddenly had the mouse & keyboard stop working. I have tried USB mice, USB keyboards, PS/2 mice and PS/2 keyboards and all of them behave (or don't behave) the same way. The mouse & keyboard work fine on other systems and are 100% known to work. The mouse & keyboard don't work in Safe Mode or regular Windows XP.
That model has PS/2 ports for a keyboard and mouse, as indicated by item #4 and #12 in this picture of the rear of that case. HP ProDesk 400G3 Microtower. Use a PS/2 keyboard and mouse. They will be recognized without the USB drivers.
